innovision are looking for a New Business Executive to help drive profitable business growth through acquisition, new lead-generation and partnerships, as well as identifying growth opportunities within our existing client base.

You will be managing prospects, follow-ups, launch calls, preparing creds decks, case studies and contributing to the sales and marketing strategy. This position reports to Head of Business Development.

The role is primarily office based, although networking and fact-finding are essential.

House Overview
The New Business House works closely with the SLT and the Board to seek out new commercial opportunities for the Agency. Be it rosters, frameworks or one-off projects, the New Business House will map potential client demand against a 24-month calendar (B2B and B2C). The new business house will identify trends and key sectors exploiting the benefits of experiential communications.

Whilst sourcing new opportunities, we undertake SWOT analysis of a new market, new geographical target or new industry to help the SLT and Board consider risk against investment.

Ultimately, the new business house drives new relationships and develops new opportunities for the agency to convert into income.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver profitable new business opportunities from new clients
  • Contribute to and help maintain a solid new business pipeline and database
  • Manage the new business budget across lead generation
  • Support the entire new business process including new business meetings
  • Prepare pitch books, case studies and competently create your own cred decks
  • Once the opportunity has landed in the agency, be available to offer advice and insights to support the successful tender/pitch process
  • Champion innovation and creativity ensuring we are always responding competitively to briefs with the most creative ideas, presentations and the best solutions to deliver results and win business
  • Provide support for pitches, meetings and conference calls, as required
  • Champion sustainability and quality in line with our IMS for our ISO:9001 2015 and ISO14001: 2015 accreditations

About You

We are looking for the following:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communicator, phone and face to face
  • Ability to research thoroughly
  • Confident and personable telesales manner
  • Experience of working across a number of marketing disciplines including experiential, events digital, social, content (B2B and B2C)
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • A natural yet humble salesperson
  • Forensic attention to detail
  • Capable of building positive relationships and of influencing people more senior than him/herself
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing and prioritising both your time and workload
  • To be proficient in all software packages used within office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & CRM’s)

This is a leadership role across the production house and across the wider agency, helping to shape and realise our ambitions for growth, innovation, future clients, employee development and maintaining our reputation for certainty in delivery.

This role reports directly to our Strategic Leadership Team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the event planning and delivery of the business. Whilst the onsite delivery requirement for this role is minimal, it is crucial that the role brings with it strong experience rooted heavily in 360 production knowledge including commercial and business acumen, successfully leading pitches, overseeing creative development, programming, operational delivery and the day-to-day business of excellence in event delivery. You should be passionate about and understand the importance of high production values, customer acquisition, creativity, innovation and technical production as being key to future business development, whilst also understanding the importance of continuing the development of people, processes and impeccable event delivery, ensuring year-on-year agency and commercial growth. Though this role isn’t client facing, you need to understand the importance of client servicing within this side of the business. This means being a ‘true partner’ rather than a ‘yes’ person; possessing the confidence to express yourself and talk as a subject matter expert, commanding the respect of senior stakeholders across the agency.

This position reports to SLT and has approximately 6 direct reports. This role is predominantly office based.

The Production House sits centrally to our delivery team and to our customer experience – building and maintaining excellent client relationships. Our team of Project Directors, Producers, Creative Producers and Project Coordinators provide dedicated leadership and management of our projects and events.
They work side by side with our Technical, Digital, Logistics and Creative Houses; all of whom are responsible for excellence in our creativity, innovation, event & live communications delivery. They all have an overview of the entire project and managing the end-to-end process for our clients. Every cog that plays a part in this process is managed, oiled and maintained by the Production House.

The Production House also manages responses to the lead generation from our Sales & Marketing House – both in terms of business development and new business opportunities, covering the entire remit from tenders and briefs through to procurement and pitching.

Responsibilities

  • Fostering a strong and cohesive team culture across all houses
  • Responsible for working with key individuals to ensure we are maximising agency income, setting forecasts and driving incremental growth opportunities across all projects and client accounts. This could involve reviewing processes and systems to maximise margins
  • Work towards the development of the supply chain network, inno-associates, training and elevating our in-market network
  • Pioneering our agency ideology of ‘fail hard, fail fast’ with a view to continually learning and improving
  • Maximising employee engagement and retention, embodying the agency values and culture

About you

It is essential that you have the following:

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in the corporate events industry and working alongside or within a busy live events agency
  • Production experience essential (incl: large budget and account ownership)
  • Passionate about marcomms landscape, new innovations and technology
  • Multi-channel understanding of industry landscape and championing both traditional high production values alongside more content and digital-driven solutions
  • To be proficient in all software packages used within office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Full clean driving licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Possess excellent communication and English language skills

We are looking for someone who is passionate about telling stories, creating compelling narratives from the raw content shared with us by our clients.

We are looking for an experienced Content Producer. As you would expect, this is a client-facing role, working very closely with the client teams as well as the innovision production, strategic, creative and digital teams. We think this suits someone with an inquisitive and eclectic mind, with the ability to organise and curate ideas and messages in various environments. Traditionally, in our industry, this would be conferences, seminars and workshops, and now encompasses digital communication and live broadcast. On a practical level, you should be skilled at leading and inspiring teams and clients, with knowledge about the technologies employed to share and broadcast content.

This position reports to Account Director with 0-2 direct reports. This role will include considerable time onsite both in the UK and overseas.
